More and more patients are going to an alternative back pain treatment as opposed to all the traditional methods that have been used for years. One reason for the alternative back pain treatment is convenience and another reason is cost.
There is so much speculation on the news about prescription drugs and their side effects that many want an alternative back pain treatment where they won't need these drugs. If an alternative back pain treatment is successful in treating and curing the pain, the patient is also eliminated from going through many medical tests, injections, physical therapy and possible unnecessary surgery. Music Therapy has been proven a relaxant as well as an anti-depressant in people with chronic back pain. Listening to soft music will lessen anxiety and depression often associated with chronic back pain.
Vitamin B-12 is another vitamin that is very good for relieving pain in back pain sufferers. Dairy products and meat are both good sources of Vitamin B-12.
Magnesium is great for good muscle growth, strong bones as well as giving a good immune system to name just a few of the benefits of this mineral.
Willow Bark, Yoga and Bowen therapy are also some alternative back pain treatment methods many are choosing to use in their quest to get healthy quicker and eliminate back pain.
